Kim Kardashian?

Guys.... I'm really confused. I can't seem to find out if there is any GOOD thing that Kim Kardashian is famous for. Is it really that the U.S is so sick, that she really became famous over a SEX TAPE.  I mean I get it, her parents are famous but so is Paul McCartney but I didn't here about Jesse McCartney until Jesse started singing. What has Kim really done that out of everyone on the Keepin up With the Kardashians that makes her more famous. If anything, I think Kendall should be the famous one. Kendall is a model, gorgeous, and is contributor to Seventeen Magazine. I think that is amazing for a 16 year old and that actually worth some type of fame. I feel like Kim Kardashian is famous for being famous. Then her reality-tv career is a bunch of bull.

I mean in comparison to Kim, I can really respect Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. Paris at least started off somewhere as a model and had a real career (before the sex tape). Nicole Richie is much better of a role model; she did some college, wrote okayish books that aren't completely about her self asorbed life,  and has good fashion sense. Out of anyone I root for Nicole Richie  as a socialite role model.

Another thing is, I don't see why Kim is known as a "hot" celebrity. She really isn't that pretty in the face, even with the makeup. Actually I think the make-up is what makes her less than gorgeous in my eyes. Bye bye to those spidery bottom lashes and keep the bangs all year round. I think Kim probably would look best as a gyaru.... Lets not go there.... ;). Kim does have a good body shape but it's pretty average for video vixens. I see gorgeous girls with the same body shape as Kim Kardashian. Why are they not famous?

I think out everyone in the Kardashian clan, Kourtney and Rob should be more famous than Kim. Both of them  are college educated, have business ventures, and don't seem as vain and overexposed as Kim. Kourtney even got her start as a reality star, on a charity show. I think I would be more accepting of a star like Kourtney.

Tralala and Liz Lisa Doll Spring and Summer 2012

Today I learned of two other brands under Liz Lisa. I had heard of Tralala before. It was always being talked about on gyaru community sales (which I never bother to buy from).

In comparison to Liz Lisa, I find Tralala more for girls who aren't a fan of flowers and overly lacy goodness. It's a more laid back style and very mainstream. I can bet you anything that you can probably buy similar outfits at Charlotte Russe and Forever 21

Liz Lisa Doll came at me as a complete surprise. I never heard of it and I am quite upset that I never did. It's a more edgy style in comparison to Liz Lisa. It's the anti- Lisa.

I REALLY like the clothes from Liz Lisa Doll even though the style has already been done.

Okie Dokie and that's my quick post.

The End.

Legend of Korra: Initial Review

I feel like search a nerd, but I really have fallen in love with Legend of Korra.

Before you say eww, I love Avatar: The Last Airbender. I downloaded most of the episodes of season 3 onto my phone and tablet to watch over and over. I don't have as much love the other seasons though so I am not a hardcore fan. I hated Season 2. But it's one of the few shows I've watched from start to finish and I also watched Avatar Extras from start to finish.

Legend of Korra, unlike Avatar is already shown its target audience is not the younger crowd but older Avatar Lovers and with the first 3 episodes it's fanbase has already exploaded! Don't believe me? Go on Tumblr, Deviantart, or google search Legend of Korra. It's insane.

I love the initial appeal of the season. Compare to Season 1 of Avatar: The Last Airbender, the first 3 episodes are much stronger but yet to be appealing toward an older audience and building up from things the audience loved from the original series. For one, Korra is nothing like Aang. If anything she is like Toph the most but has a blend of Katara and Suki within. She might be like Katara by conditioning. *spoiler* She was trained in waterbending by Katara. It is also easily able to see they took the Zukatara relationship EVERYONE was waiting to see and manipulated to our enjoyment. We should expect another love-triangle for the girls. But for the boys we'll see a LOT of action. Korra has a lot of boyish characteristics which benefits the genre of the show.

Now some Fangirl Talk *spoilers ahead*
I was actually upset with the drawings of characters in first two episodes. I felt Korra's shape did not fit the one of a cartoon girl. Then I forgave it because it was more realistic and more positive for the general audience. A girls aren't always as skinny as Katara. Besides Korra looks more feminine in Episode 3 anyway (somehow, someway idk)
I also didn't love Mako as much as I loved Zuko. But I shall also forgive that. Zuko was not even good looking until season 2, then he became a hunk in Season 3. Mako is good looking as Season 1. He shall become a hunk very soon.

I really enjoy the 3rd episode of Legend of Korra. It litterally has you on the edge of your seat waiting for the next episode. I watched a preview of the episode and I was on the edge of my seat for 3 hours waiting for the oppertunity of this episode and soon after I went on tumblr. THE FANGIRLS ARE ON FIRE.

One fangirl posted her notes on that episode:

Revelations
  • The morning is EVIL
  • “Looks like the little love bird is making a house call”
  • and Mako’s just like lol no Bolin you can’t do that MUST GO TO AIR TEMPLE ISLAND TO INTERFERE
  • At least that’s the way my shipper mind is interpreting it
  • Have I mentioned that Bolin and Pabu are adorable
  • Uhhhh Mako
  • Mako lightning-bending
  • Thank you, Bryke, for making any other male, fictional or not, pale in comparison to the beauty that is Mako
  • Also,
  • I WAS RIGHT BOLIN AND MAKO USED TO DO SOME KIND OF WORK FOR THE TRIPLE THREAT TRIADS
  • Korra and Mako fell asleep on each other
  • Notice how Korra fully has the sleepy face on and screams as she leaps back?
  • Notice how Mako doesn’t?
  • Headcanon: Mako was already awake but didn’t want to wake Korra up.
  • Oh, the holding on to Mako’s arm thing?
  • C’mon, we all know that was completely unnecessary
  • I mean, they broke apart when they got to the bouncer person
  • So what was the point of that?
  • Korra and Mako being all touchy, obviously
  • Why is Amon such a popstar diva?
  • I think Bolin and Mako fight like they’re in the Probending Arena too much. As in, their bending is too controlled, and fighting in the real world requires versatility
  • Korra, on the other hand… has no control or tactics at all
  • But that’s the whole point of the series: the Avatar learning and mastering the elements and all their aspects
  • I should probably come back to write more on my thoughts when I’m not fangirling over Makorra

I agree with her to certain points. Bullet #3 made no sense. He went to the air temple after haven't seeing Bolin for hours. But it does make you see where a certain plotline is going. Bolin likes Korra. Korra likes Mako. But if Mako does like Korra, he will be obligated to his brother to give a chance with Korra no matter how much he likes her. Mako is always protecting his brother. We'll see a lot of disputes between Mako and Bolin because Mako cares too much. We also realize that bending feats from 100 years ago, are very common. But despite that Mako can lightning bend, his firebending sucks compare to ones like Korra, Zuko, Azula, and Aang. He lacks a strong background in traditional martial arts. And he's weaker than Korra, a major negative. Eventually Bolin and Mako are going to need some serious training. I watch the Headcanon part a couple of times before I could confirm my thoughts. Mako, doesn't seem like he was fully asleep when they wake up. Her opinion may be true.  Mako obviously has some childhood trauma, he might be a light sleeper. Either way, there is no way he didn't know she fell asleep on his shoulder.

I'm very deeply waiting to see the psychological outcomes of Mako. Seeing his parents killed is something deep. I feel like Mako and Bolin are descendants of that mayor from Avatar: Promise (if you guys read the comics).

Thank you tumblr fan girls for noticing this. This episode definitively got me in frenzies. All the Makorra moments…when Ikki and Jinora were teasing Korra and and and when they fell alseep on each other and woke up all embarrassed and and and and the scarf and the arm grab

I think all this Makkorra stuff is what got me. I was such a zukatara fan, this is so similar to it. Plus Mako is Korra's foil, omg I am in love.

Plus Avatar always make me want to learn martial arts and tone up my body. Maybe I'll do it, before it's too late, this year :)

I'm Back

I guess it seems like I've been dead for quite a while. It's been about 3 weeks since I last posted. Without my camera, I've neglected to do proper posts and then I went on vacation during my Spring Break and I have so many things to talk about but it's going to have to wait -__-"

First thing I can do is write about Disney World! I got the pleasure of having the opportunity of performing in Epcot, April 11th. It was awesome experience and I got to stay in Disney for a whole week. IT WAS AMAZING.

I got over 100 pictures from disney myself. There are other pictures that are surfacing up so I got to wait before I post anything. The post is going to separated into 3 parts anyway :)

I also got to review contacts from thedollyeye.com. I think I might buy another set from them too. Maybe dueba puffy 3-tones or gothic 3 tones. Idk yet they are both the same size but I like the contacts to not make me look like alien and vibrant.

Speaking of reviews, I have so many advertorial lined up right now, so you may see many popping out of nowhere.

Anyway, during these passed few weeks I have been searching my unique style. Of course otona style of makeup is what I'm sticking to, but idk what style of clothing I'm sticking to. I can't help that I'm a hard core cutesy lover. I think the only otona brand I like is Judgetta.

Pictures are credited to Universal Doll.

I can only say that because it's was accidentally pretty damn close to the clothes I usually like (before I even knew the brand existed).
The other popular brands Gilfy and Murua

I could stand some of their clothes but I wouldn't fall in love with their brand. It's too grown up for me. I'm a still a teen! I don't want to have a mature sexy look yet, I want to live out my youth all cutesy.

Idk if my makeup choice will balance my clothing choice but hopefully it does. But so far, most gyaru bloggers usually stick with one or the other. Cutesy make-up+ cutesy clothes or mature makeup+ mature clothes.
.
.
.
.
OMG WHY AM I EVEN STRESSING. I'M NOT GYARU, I DON'T NEED TO TRY TO FOLLOW THEIR RULES, I'LL DO WHATEVER I LIKE. LIKE A BOSS :)

And that concludes my come-back post. Hopefully my mind will be less boggled next time that I post.

Power Outage

Thanks to Olga Quinn
The electricity in our house has been going off and on for the past week. I don’t know if they are building something in the area that is cutting off the electricity or if it has something to do with the electricity provider that we currently have. I plan to look at Texas electricity providers to see if I can find a different provider that hopefully will be better than the one we have now. I know that when companies are building new houses or even, as in our case, building sidewalks, different things can happen to cut some kind of utility or phone line. Sometimes they can be fixing a water leak somewhere in the neighborhood and just turn off everyone’s water. I hate it when that happens because you can be trying to get ready to go to work and when you try to take a shower, nothing comes out of the faucet. But, I guess those are things you have to get used to when you live in a neighborhood that is continually growing.

Trayvon Martin Tribute

If you don't know what's going on with all this Trayvon Martin, these Americans have been talking about go to this link.

Basically an African American teenage boy was shot dead, for looking "suspicious". The boy was simply walking home in the rain, unarmed and wearing a hoodie. The thing that was assumed to be a gun was a can of Arizona and skittles.

Now the man who murdered him is walking free and the nation is stunned. Its a repeat of the famous Emmett Till case that happened in the 1950s. Remind you (for foreigners) the U.S was segregated at the time and African American were treated inhumanly and were denied of basic rights.

It's crazy how short life can be. To die at 17. You haven't even lived yet.

When the news broke out, everyone wanted to show their support and rally against racial profiling.

Here are some pics I gather that I thought was aspiring.

Even NY senator decided to wear hoodies in support of Trayvon.

NY Legislature supporting Trayvon

Media really knows how spark up protest. I didn't go far for these pics. I found them all on Facebook. Some were pics of friends, others were pics that were shared. There has been thousands rallies nationwide. I participated in one. Have you?
